Because people no longer have to wait for film to be processed and returned, the digital camera market continues to grow. Digital cameras can also be considerably smaller as they do not need a film chamber. A great advantage over the older film system is how easily the images can be stored using a computer or other mass storage device. Although the image looks exactly the same as that of a normal photograph, they are stored as pixels. Continue reading
