Question by : Are you supposed to hold the flush down when pouring in a bucket of water into a blocked toilet?
I have tried a plunger, just went out a got a bigger one. Tried coke, tried plunging and the bucket of warm water thing, I have a septic tank, and enviro sep so cant put draino in there, but are you ment to hold the flusher down when you pour in the bucket of water, or just pour it in and then flush and pump it?

Normally you just pour the water in and it should flush itself but if it is plugged as bad as you say holding the lever down would do no good. Sounds like you need a professional plumber.
